Since his time in university Christopher Meloni has always been interested in the acting world. He went to study acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. While he was active on TV and film, his roles on the smaller screen have earned him a lot of recognition. His ability to portray characters on both sides of law is what has caught the attention of viewers. His first television project, he played the role of a serial killer. Later he portrayed the role of an NYPD Investigator. For his work on the smaller screen, he's been nominated several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. The actor is famous for his blue piercing eyes, which have turned into an iconic feature and have helped to create a charismatic character for tough roles. The People's Magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
