Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor who is well known for his character on the television show 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. Since his time at college Christopher Meloni was interested in the acting world. He studied acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. While he was active in film and TV, his roles on the small screen have earned him a lot of popularity. His ability to play characters on both sides of law is what has caught the attention of viewers. In his first TV series in which he played the role of a killer. Later, he was able to play the part of an NYPD Detective. In recognition of his performance in the small screen, he's been nominated numerous times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. He is known for his blue-piercing eyes that have been a signature and helped in portraying tough characters with a sense of humor. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
